he's not a cat, and this must be stressed emphatically. though in retrospect, he'd rather be a cat than a baby lamb. the point is! there's only so many animals alek can shapeshift into, but. if he could shapeshift into an animal that resembled his personality at times, it would be a cat. secretly needy, prickly at times, and possessing bottomless affection for those precious few he decides to give it to. and much like a cat, he's fallen asleep on cora's lap.
they were watching some movie or other, and spending time with cora often means he lets his guard down. letting his guard down means he allows himself to doze off. he's thankfully not drooling, nothing too embarrassing, but he is snoring softly as his cheek presses to the denim of her jeans.

Tries to shift slowly so that she can get her leg out. But none of it is quite enough to get her the relief she needs.]
Hey.

every night.
alek's sleep this evening is light. at the stirring, he starts to stretch in place, and pushes open one sleepy eye. ]
Hey. [ smile equally sleepy, he finally straightens himself into a seated position, rubbing the side of his face. ] How long was I out?
no subject
Not long. My leg just fell asleep.

[ alek gives her a sheepish grin, since he definitely did not want to be the reason her leg fell asleep, even if she made for a very good pillow. ]
no subject
Not your fault.
[She shrugs.]
Maybe we should go for a walk.
