I distinctly remember what happened last time you promised me I'd love something.

[ mind, sarah doesn't appear to be dissuaded by this past experience of theirs. it's always an adventure, one way or another. she loves serena for everything she is, and her cousin has been wanting to go to this place for weeks now. it's noah's turn to wait. ]

Can you at least promise no cops this time?

[seirenes]

I cannot in good faith make that promise. I never intend to find cops. They find me.

[She's totally innocent in all of this.]

What I can promise is serenading a ton of free drinks out of Wall Street trust fund assholes, dancing, and them getting absolutely nothing in return because that is what they deserve.

[revenant]

As extremely doubtful as I am of that claim, cops do kind of suck, so.

[ maybe not all of them, but some of them. ]

And okay, but you also have to promise no taking pictures of those Wall Street assholes. You'd just send them to Noah and then he'd be pissy at me for the rest of the week. [ she knows you well, serena!! ]

[seirenes]

[Okay, fair, she was going to do that, though she does look innocent and offended at the implications.]

Only for tonight. [ it's said with a laugh as she links their arms together. ] Don't you think it would be fun to change it up a little? Leave a little mystery to everyone that's wondering what the great Serena Chen is doing tonight?

[seirenes]

[There's a dramatic sounding sigh as she nods in agreement, continuing to follow Sarah's steps towards the club.]

Fine. But if I wake up to a million messages from my followers wondering if I'm dead or something, I'm blaming you."

I am fully okay with taking all of the blame. All of it.

[ she kisses serena's cheek affectionately, winding an arm around her shoulders to drag her inside the rest of the way. promise made, sarah's steps are a little bouncier as they make their way in. ♪ ]

[Serena is equally bouncy in return, and once covers are paid she's going to drag Sarah right to the dance floor, because that's her song, and why start with drinks when they can dance and see if they can get guys to buy them for them.]

[revenant]

[ is there really any doubt that they will get all the drinks for free? because they will. sarah eyes one guy in particular, leaning against the bar, and very clearly watching her cousin as she moves those hips that don't lie. ]

[She glances back over her shoulder and flashes him a smile, before turning back to her cousin again.]
