She grins at him before nodding, moving forward to drop the ends of the flowers into the water. After that, she'll set it down on her dresser, in a way that probably doesn't really go with the aesthetic of the room at all, but she doesn't really care. Her boyfriendguy she likes to make out with friend brought her flowers, and she is appreciative.
It's a rare and unabashed grin that makes him look younger, or maybe it just makes him look his actual age. Once she's set the flowers down on the dresser, he reaches for her hand, locking their fingers together.
She lets him take her hand, following along where she's tugged and only stopping to make sure she had the key to get back into her cabin later. Her hand doesn't leave his, even for a second, and she just falls into step next to them as they walk.
There's a small, sheepish smile in response to her question.
"At the risk of being predictable? ... It's pizza. But there's a twist to it!" In that they are heart-shaped and there will be dessert and the place they will be eating the pizza at is sort of fancy. But it's them, and Alek kind of wanted to stick to who they are for it. Besides, one of the first foods they ever ate together was pizza.
She laughs at that, before nodding. "I, personally, am always okay with pizza." It's better than having to learn to like something new and complicated, and pizza felt like them, which in the end was the most important part.
Alek opens the door and motions for her to step in first. "What about beverage-wise? It occurs to me now that I haven't asked what your favorite thing to drink is, though I'm sure... the place will have it," he says, scratching the back of his head thoughtfully.
He doesn't know how the food replenishes, but he's sure he's probably better off not knowing.
It probably is for the best. Poking into these things without the proper consideration for what may be behind closed doors is how you find out horrible, horrible things that make you regret everything one day. That's just the way the world works.
"I like to keep it simple. Coke or Sprite is usually good."
"Coke it is," Alek says with an easy smile. He could just as easily get the robots to fetch them their sodas, but he'd rather get them himself. He's a Coca Cola person through and through.
She will keep that in mind. And she will wait there for her Coke, looking around as she goes to try and get a better feel of the place. She tracks the exits and the other people around mostly out of habit, but eventually her eyes will wander back to Alek while she waits for him to come back.
She totally isn't staring. Or at least not trying to do it in a creepy way, but she may be failing. She just still can't believe she's actually doing this.

"Come on. We don't want the food to get cold."
